DESCRIPTION:The Cambridge-Africa Programme supports several African PhD an
 d postdoctoral researchers on visiting fellowships to the University of Ca
 mbridge (e\,g. through the MUII\, THRiVE and CAPREx initiatives). The visi
 ting African researchers are hosted by Cambridge collaborators/mentors. Hu
 ghes Hall is one of four Cambridge Colleges that the Cambridge-Africa Prog
 ramme has linked up with\, to host African fellows visiting Cambridge and 
 give them an opportunity to showcase their research here.\n\nEight African
  Fellows from the THRiVE and CAPREx initiatives will each give an introduc
 tory presentation about the joint research they are currently conducting w
 ith their Cambridge collaborator/mentor. The talks will cover a range of s
 ubject areas\, and information about the African speakers\, the titles of 
 their talks and their Cambridge hosts can be found on the talk registratio
