DESCRIPTION:Baryons in holographic QCD correspond to topological solitons 
 in the bulk. I shall describe some recent results on the study of bulk sol
 itons within the Sakai-Sugimoto model\, which is a holographic QCD model w
 ith a string theory embedding. A low-dimensional analogue will also be des
 cribed and results presented that are relevant for holographic investigati
 ons of QCD at finite density.
