DESCRIPTION:*A central question in entrepreneurship is when and how do peo
 ple recognise an opportunity that is worth pursuing?* Should it be ideas t
 hat are evident in the market place based on alertness? Should it be about
  deep research that leads to ideas of how to disrupt markets? And when sho
 uld we pursue them? Is it only when they offer watertight business cases o
 r when they get us excited? In other words\, what is the typical anatomy o
 f an opportunity?\n\nWe kickstart the new series of Enterprise Tuesday in 
 what is the tenth anniversary year of the Centre for Entreprenurial Learni
 ng (CfEL) with contributions from two illustrious speakers.\n\n*Professor 
 Sir Leszek Borysiewicz*\, MA\, PhD\, FRS\, FRCP\, FmedSci\, is the 345th V
 ice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge. He was knighted in the 2001
  New Year's Honours List for his contribution to medical education and res
 earch into developing vaccines\, including work towards a vaccine to comba
 t cervical cancer. \n\n*Dr Hermann Hauser* CBE FREng has wide experience i
 n developing and financing companies in the information technology sector.
  He co-founded the Acorn Computer Group plc and subsequently became vice p
 resident of research at Olivetti. During his tenure at Olivetti\, he estab
 lished a global network of research laboratories. Since leaving Olivetti\,
  Hermann has founded over 20 technology companies. In 1997\, he co-founded
  Amadeus Capital Partners. Hermann is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics
  and of the Royal Academy of Engineering and an Honorary Fellow of King's 
 College\, Cambridge. In 2001 he was awarded an Honorary CBE for ‘innovat
 ive service to the UK enterprise sector'. Hermann Hauser has been a Visiti
