DESCRIPTION:This seminar reflects on how the Arts integrated approach in E
ducation may enhance aesthetic sensibility and creative attitudes above ot
her more pragmatic or instrumental knowledge and skills. Argumentation wil
l take into account other issues related to the notions of creativity and
sensibility in arts education\, such as:\n1)	Facing external restrictions
to achieve an internal purpose\, according to Eisner´s idea of art educat
ion\;\n2)	Risking self-efficacy and self-concept by accepting possible fai
lures\, according to the sense of vulnerability in A. McIntyre.\n3)	Openin
g and exposing intimacy to others as a self-donation\, according to the no
tion of person in L. Polo.\n4)	Relying on team support\, according to McIn
tyre’s explanation of dependence as reliance.\n\nReflection will be refe
rred to the practice of art team work. Dealing with creative team work hel
ps students to get engaged with common goods and interests at the same tim
e they experience the aesthetic pleasure of self-achievement being materia
lized in concrete art performance.\n\n*Dr. Carmen Urpi* is a lecturer in t
he area of Theory and History of Education in the Department of Education
at University of Navarra where she teaches courses related to Visual Arts
and Aesthetics in Education for undergraduate and postgraduate studies (MA

n from a wide approach which includes school formal context and other non-
