SUMMARY:Is the Electron Round and are the Constants Constant? - Prof. Ed H
 inds\, Imperial College London
DTSTART:20131021T190000Z
DTEND:20131021T200000Z
UID:TALK48494@talks.cam.ac.uk
CONTACT:Rok Nezic
DESCRIPTION:We do not know how the universe evolved at early times\, but s
omehow it managed to end up with a lot more matter than antimatter. Theori
es that try to explain this asymmetry of the cosmos\, produce a correspond
ing asymmetry in the electron. Professor Hinds describes an experiment to
measure this asymmetry\, perhaps one of the smallest lengths measured.\n\n
The talk is *free* for CUPS members\, *£2* for non-members\, and will be
 followed by a wine reception.
