 tivities and tackling the challenges of urbanisation. But what role should
  national and urban policy occupy in fostering greater connectivity?\n\nFo
 resight’s Future of Cities project\, recently launched by the Government
 ’s Chief Scientific Officer Sir Mark Walport\, is one stimulus among man
 y which highlights the importance of cities for the UK’s future developm
 ent. Achieving world-class\, inclusive digital connectivity is essential f
