DESCRIPTION:This will be the fifth UK~IRC Innovation Summit and this year 
 the focus will be on the 'The Future of Science and Innovation Policy'. Th
 is one day conference will explore how research\, policy and business prac
 tices influence science and innovation policy\, and what steps should be t
 aken to strengthen these links.\n\nThe all day programme will include a co
 nference address from a Government Minister\, keynote presentations\, a pa
 nel discussion\, as well as a number of parallel sessions\, allowing deleg
