 rmly invite you to 'Forgetting Forgetting'\, a talk on found footage by fi
 lmmaker and critic Sarah Wood. Besides heading up the viral media company 
 Unruly Media\, Sarah Wood's work includes 'I Want to be a Secretary' (2007
 ) and 'Three-Minute Warning' (2012)\n\n'Forgetting forgetting': What does 
 the archive mean in relation to the use and re-use of documentary footage?
   What is the relationship between recording and testimony in the act of w
 itnessing? Here\, Sarah Wood will discuss her own approach to working with
  found image and sound in the context of the documentary evidential and il
 lustrate the talk with short works by herself and other contemporary artis
 ts. \n\nThis seminar will be the third installment in this year's series o
 n Mnemotechnics and the Archive\, which considers the ways in which indivi
 dual\, institutional and social memories have been understood to relate to
  media forms that participate in their inscription\, subversion\, perpetua
 tion and effacement.
