 ressure to perform. Professor Su will explain how he has learned to counte
 r this tendency in his own life\, and the positive impacts that kindness a
 nd grace have had on his teaching\, his work with students\, and on his pe
 rsonal identity.\n\nProfessor Su is the 2013 winner of the Haimo Award\, t
 he highest teaching prize of the Mathematical Association of America\, and
  he is its newly elected president. He is the Benediktsson-Karwa Professor
  of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont\, California\, USA.\n
