DESCRIPTION:Janas is Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology & Public H
 ealth\, UCC\, and co-ordinator of the Health Promotion Pathway on the Mast
 ers in Public Health (MPH). Her research is focused on Nutrition Epidemiol
 ogy and is anchored in the HRB Centre for Diet and Health Research. Janas
 ’ research interests are nutritional and lifestyle epidemiology and publ
 ic health nutrition\; specifically\, the nutritional and environmental det
 erminants of obesity and physical inactivity as risk factors for CVD. She 
 also has a keen interest in food and nutrition inequalities and food pover
 ty.
