DESCRIPTION: To some astrophysicists\, `the anthropic principle'\n is just
  a matter of simple conditional probability.\n They say `Just as we observ
 e stars\, supernovae\, jets\, and so forth\,\n then  infer the parameters 
 of our cosmological models\,\n similarly\, the ``observation''  that we ar
 e here induces a posterior\n distribution over models'.\n Others feel unco
 mfortable with this sort of anthropic reasoning.\n I'll present a few vers
 ions of the 'Sleeping Beauty' problem\,\n some with a cosmological flavour
 .\n
