 nibbles\n\nProfessor Dame Carol Black is Principal of Newnham College Camb
 ridge\, Expert Advisor on Health and Work to the Department of Health\, En
 gland\, Chairman of the Nuffield Trust\, and Chairman of the Governance Bo
 ard of the Centre for Workforce Intelligence. In November 2011 she co-chai
 red an independent review for the UK Government of sickness absence in Bri
 tain. Prof. Black is a past-President of the Royal College of Physicians\,
  the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges\, and the British Lung Foundation. 
 Since the early 1990s\, Prof. Black has worked at board level in a number 
 of organisations\, and has been awarded many honorary degrees and fellowsh
 ips. Dame Carol was apppointed Principal of Newnham College in Cambridge U
 niversity in September 2012.\n\nThe Cambridge Centre for Health Services R
 esearch (CCHSR) is a collaboration between two leading health care researc
 h groups: the Health Services Research Group based in the Institute of Pub
 lic Health at the University of Cambridge\, and the Health and Healthcare 
 Group based at RAND Europe. Together\, we form a collective of over twenty
  researchers from a wide variety of backgrounds\, brought together with th
 e common aim of informing policy through evidence-based research on health
  services\, both in the UK and internationally. The groups are led by Mart
 in Roland\, Professor of Health Services Research at the University of Cam
 bridge and Ellen Nolte\, Director of Health and Healthcare at RAND Europe.
