DESCRIPTION:The Mars Science Laboratory rover\, Curiosity\, touched down o
 n the surface of Mars on August 5\, 2012 in one of the most audacious plan
 etary landings ever. This car-sized rover has been successfully exploring 
 Gale crater since then. Built to conduct an investigation of modern and an
 cient environments on the surface of Mars\, this talk will describe the ro
 ver's explorations and adventures\, and discuss the latest findings.\n\nEv
 eryone is welcome. Free for members\, £2 on the door for non-members. Fol
 lowed by refreshments (that means smoothies\, cheese and grapes!).
