DESCRIPTION:Much of our current neuroscience knowledge is based on molecul
 es and genes.  However\, neurons live in a physical world and obey physica
 l laws.  I will show how neurons mechanically interact with their environm
 ent\, and how cellular forces contribute to the functioning of the nervous
  system.\n\nEveryone is welcome. Free for members\, £2 on the door for no
 n-members. Followed by refreshments (that means smoothies\, cheese and gra
 pes!).
