DESCRIPTION:We establish some concentration properties for various classes
  of nonlinear eigenvalue problems with variable exponent. These striking p
 henomena are due to the combined effect of several terms\, a crucial role 
 being the presence of one or several unusual nonlinearities. The treatment
  is mainly variational and the problems are inspired by models in electror
 heological fluids and image processing.\n\n\n
