DESCRIPTION:In recent years there has been renewed interest in localisatio
 n theory for symplectic varieties. Such a theory shows that the representa
 tion theory of certain algebras is the same as the study of categories of 
 sheaves of modules on a symplectic variety. In joint work with Bellamy\, D
 odd and Nevins\, we start such a  study for symplectic varieties equipped 
 with an ''elliptic'' action of the multiplicative. Our main result gives a
  kind of categorification of the Bialynicki-Birula cell decomposition of s
 uch a variety.
