DESCRIPTION:Although the field of face perception is advancing rapidly\, a
 ny experimental results are only as good as the experiment itself.  We hav
 e developed a new online test of face perception that is quick\, balanced\
 , and easy to administer\, and will thus stand as a sound experiment for t
 he testing of a broad range of hypotheses.  This talk will give a short in
 troduction to the field of face perception\, and then discuss the many ste
 ps in – and considerations regarding – the development of a new psycho
 physical test.
