DESCRIPTION:To celebrate 25 years since the publication of his first book 
 *Katie's Picture Show*\, James Mayhew will talk about his quest to share h
 is passion for art and music with children. From the process of creating a
  book to the thrills of painting on stage with an orchestra\, James' work 
 is all about the magic of combining the arts within the framework of a goo
 d story.\n\n*James Mayhew* is a distinguished author and illustrator  who 
 has received many awards and honours. His best-selling Katie's Picture Sho
 w series has been introducing children to great works of art for the last 
 25 years.  He is also the creator of the Ella Bella books\, and many other
 s. He is well-known for his unique work presenting  concerts with orchestr
 as (with live illustration!) and as a story-teller\, educator and set-desi
 gner. James contributes to the Anglia Ruskin MA Course in Children's Book 
 Illustration.   He is much in demand internationally as a speaker.
