DESCRIPTION:\n\n*We regret that due to a last minute scheduling conflict w
 e have had to postpone this talk to a later date.*\n\n\nJulian Huppert is 
 the Member of Parliament for Cambridge. He was elected with a majority of 
 nearly 7\,000 in May 2010. Outside politics Julian’s other great passion
  is science- he has a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of C
 ambridge and until the election was a practising research scientist.\nJuli
 an is a passionate advocate of green policy\, and he was a member of the L
 ib Dem working party that produced national policies on climate change and
  the environment\, aiming to achieve a zero-carbon economy by 2050. Until 
 2013\, Julian served as co-chair of the Lib Dem Transport committee\, and 
 is currently co-chair of the APPG on Cycling. He is also a board member of
  the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology.\nJulian recently cont
 ributed to the ‘The Green Book’\, which re-examines the Lib Dem approa
 ch to green policy and suggest fresh ideas for the next decade and beyond\
 , with a chapter on the clean-tech industry.\n\nThis talk will explore the
  need to support Cambridge's growing clean tech/green sector and how this 
 ties in with the expansion of the city through its growth areas. Followed 
 by a Q&A.
