DESCRIPTION:After reviewing the status of the cosmological model post Plan
 ck and other surveys\, \nthe talk will focus on the international Dark Ene
 rgy Survey (DES).  DES observations are already underway\, \naiming to map
  200 million galaxies which will be used via multiple methods (galaxy clus
 tering\, clusters\, weak lensing) and thousands of supernovae type Ia. \nT
 hese will be used to quantify the enigmatic Dark Energy and alternative mo
 dels. Early DES science results will be presented. \nOther science goals (
 e.g. neutrino mass) and future surveys (e.g. DESI\, Euclid\, LSST) will al
 so be discussed. \n
