DESCRIPTION:Arctic sea ice is one of the most sensitive components in glob
al climate system. The impact of global warming is expected to be more int
ensified in Arctic sea ice with the vigorous positive feedback\, ice albed
o feedback. Thus the prediction of the future status of Arctic sea ice und
er global warming is requested strongly in our society even with the diffi
culty given by a myriad of unspecified physical processes in Arctic area.
Here\, we would like to introduce a way of constructing a stochastic Arcti
c sea ice model\, which is expected to be used practically. Various issues
regarding the construction of the stochastic model will be presented.
