 s the paranoid anxieties of the conspiracy theory into the apartment block
  and inside a marriage.  Within the home\, the film exposes the same mecha
 nics of fear and uncertainty that inform the political conspiracy theory. 
  However\, in Rosemary's Baby\, the domestic conspiracy – if it is reall
 y happening – seems to operate on an even grander\, cosmic scale – a w
 ar between God and Satan.  With an introduction by Michael Newton\, film w
