DESCRIPTION:SAXS is a quick & easy technique that can give structural info
rmation about a macromolecule. However\, it is extremely sensitive to samp
le quality. In addition\, because of the limited amount of data\, SAXS is
also prone to being over interpreted and can easily lead to incorrect mode
ls. Therefore\, I will discuss how to collect high quality SAXS data\, how
to discriminate ‘good’ data from ‘bad’ data\, and how to get usef
ul structural information out of a single SAXS curve.
