DESCRIPTION:We will discuss recent applications of gauge-gravity duality a
 nd hydrodynamics \nto strongly correlated systems far from equilibrium. In
  particular\, we will argue that \nlong-time energy transport in quantum c
 ritical systems occurs via a universal steady-state \nfor any spatial dime
 nsionality [1]. This is described by a Lorentz boosted thermal state. \nWe
  determine the transport properties of this emergent steady state\, includ
