DESCRIPTION:\nIn this talk I will show how superstring amplitudes in ten d
 imensions\nassume simple forms when written as objects in the cohomology o
 f\npure spinor superspace. This realization motivates a systematic\nstudy 
 of the cohomology using the vertex operator algebra in the pure\nspinor fo
 rmalism as a tool to antecipate results for higher-point\namplitudes at a 
 given loop order. I will also show how these\nstudies led to a multipartic
 le generalization of the standard\nten-dimensional SYM equations of motion
 .
