DESCRIPTION:The BPS spectrum of a large class of N=2 theories can be encod
 ed in an oriented graph called BPS\nquiver. In this talk I will review the
  BPS quiver technique and the 4d/2d correspondence\nintroduced by Cecotti\
 , Neitzke and Vafa. In the second part of the talk\, based on a work in\nc
 ollaboration with Sergio Cecotti and Michele Del Zotto\, I will explain ho
 w the BPS quiver\ntechnology can be used to study a new class of N=2 super
 conformal models construceted via Type\nIIB geometric engineering. The com
 putation of  various quantities of interest such as scaling\ndimensions of
  chiral operators and central charges can be related via the 4d/2d corresp
 ondence to\ntwo­dimensional problems.
