DESCRIPTION:I have spent this year working with a composer who runs music 
 workshops for disabled people. He asked me to design an electronic musical
  instrument which would provide decision-making freedom to those with phys
 ical disabilities.\n\nThis talk will summarise my research into computer c
 ontrollers for the disabled\, musical performance and electronic music. I 
 will outline the challenges of the design brief and describe and demonstra
 te the prototype instruments I developed.
