DESCRIPTION:This presentation will provide an overview of economic evaluat
 ion as applied to mental health services and explore the value of economic
  evaluation at different phases of clinical research\, focusing on a) earl
 y phase ‘value of information’ analysis to help justify later phases o
 f research and b) later phase economic methods to help justify investment 
 in services under evaluation. Examples of the additional value economic me
 thods can provide will be presented.
