DESCRIPTION:Alfonso Cuaron's remarkable blockbuster Gravity has been colle
cting\nenough stars from film reviewers to fill the galaxy it so devotedly
\ndepicts.\n\nIt is\, many say\, the closest thing most of us will ever ge
t to going\ninto space.\n\nBut how were those stunning images made? By tak
ing a film crew up 372\nmiles above the earth?\n\nIn fact\, those mesmeris
ing images are almost all computer generated\,\nplanned and created by a 4
00-strong team of visual effects artists at\nFramestore in London.\n\nRich
ard Graham (Visual Effects Producer on Gravity)\, Mark Hills\n(Framestore'
s Head of Systems Development) and Michael Blain\n(Senior R&D Developer) w
ill be speaking in detail about the challenge\nof creating Gravity's 3D vi
suals.\n\nFrom its unique planning and three-and-a-half-year production to
the\nhardware and software development and innovation\, the talk will giv
e\nan insight into how the team achieved 12-minute continuous shots set\ni
n zero gravity.\n\nThe talk will also include a Q&A\, and is likely to con
tain spoilers\;\nyou're recommended to see the film first!\n\nN.B. No film
ing or recording of the talk (sorry).\n This allows us to present th
 e most interesting material
