DESCRIPTION:To mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War\,
  memorial\, multi-disciplinary\, peace conference is being organised by th
 e Cambridge Alumni and the PEXIM Foundation Alumni. The organizers are sup
 ported by Sir Paul Judge (Knight\, Aldermanic Sheriff of the City of Londo
 n)\, the principal benefactor of Judge Business School. The conference wil
 l be hosted at University of Cambridge Judge Business School\, ranked as o
 ne of the world's leading business schools.\n\nThe desirable outcome of th
 is conference is that notable audience gets more familiar about the curren
 t economic and political landscape and memory projects related to The Grea
 t War legacy in the fields of: international development\, innovation and 
 youth employment\, education and culture. Proceedings from the conference 
 will be recorded and possibly published in other ways if the speakers agre
 e on that proposal. Moreover\, the conference considers key premises of le
 adership considering the pivotal role of great man who worked on internati

 he Great War\n\nSpeakers' biographies: \nDominic Lieven graduated first in
  his year\, 1973\, at the University of Cambridge. He was a Kennedy Schola
 r at Harvard and\, on completing his PhD\, became a lecturer in the Depart
 ment of Government at the London School of Economics\, where he was Profes
 sor of Russian Government\, before teaching at Cambridge Faculty of Histor
 y. Lieven has also been a visiting professor at Tokyo and Harvard Universi
 ties\, as well as a Humboldt Fellow in Gottingen and Munich. He has publis
 hed widely\, writing on aristocracy\, late imperial Russia\, and empire. H
 e is a Fellow of the British Academy.\n\nAleksandar Protic was educated at
  Sorbonne\, International Diplomatic Academy and Prime Minister of France 
 National School of Governance\, and also is Harvard and Cambridge Executiv
 e Education Alumni. He is actively engaged in UNESCO activities organizing
  high-level conferences and designing educational\, cultural and scientifi
 c programs. Founder of Tesla Memory Project\, Aleksandar is also devoted t
 o the popularization of science. He gave lectures before nomerous forums\,
  institutions\, as well as at Cambridge\, Oxford\, Sorbonne\, Prime Minist
 er of France National School of Governance\, Serbian Academy of Sciences a
 nd Arts etc.\n\nSimon Stockley is a Teaching Fellow in Entrepreneurship at
  Cambridge Judge Business School and Deputy Director of Accelerate Cambrid
 ge\, the School's new enterprise accelerator. Prior to his recent appointm
 ent at Cambridge\, Simon spent 10 years at Imperial College Business Schoo
 l as director of the full-time MBA programme and a principal teaching fell
 ow. His MBA course in entrepreneurship was ranked 3rd in the world by the 
 Financial Times. Outside work\, Simon is a social entrepreneur and an advo
 cate for trafficked women\, in which capacity he has advised Parliament. H
 e holds several non-executive directorships and has advised well over 100 
 technology start-ups.\n\nThis Conference is free and open to all with no t
