DESCRIPTION:To mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War\,
  memorial\, multi-disciplinary\, peace conference is being organised by *t
 he Cambridge Alumni and the PEXIM Foundation Alumni*. The organizers are s
 upported by Sir Paul Judge (Knight\, Aldermanic Sheriff of the City of Lon
 don)\, the principal benefactor of Judge Business School. The conference w
 ill be hosted at University of Cambridge Judge Business School\, ranked as
  one of the world's leading business schools.\n\nThe desirable outcome of 
 this conference is that notable audience gets more familiar about the curr
 ent economic and political landscape and memory projects related to The Gr
 eat War legacy in the fields of: international development\, innovation an
 d youth employment\, education and culture. Proceedings from the conferenc
 e will be recorded and possibly published in other ways if the speakers ag
 ree on that proposal. Moreover\, the conference considers key premises of 
 leadership considering the pivotal role of great man who worked on interna
 tional peace.\n\nThe keynote speakers will include :\n*Professor Dominic L
 ieven\, Cambridge University Faculty of History:* The Great War Underlying
  Causes and Implications\;\n*Aleksandar Protić\, Federal Counselor at UNE
 SCO Federation of France:* \nMemory Projects Fostering Intercultural Under
 standing about the Great War\;\n*Professor Simon Stockley\, Cambridge Judg
 e Business School:* Innovation as a Catalyst for Youth Leadership a Centur
 y after the Great War.\n\nSpeakers' biographies: \n*Dominic Lieven* gradua
 ted first in his year\, 1973\, at the University of Cambridge. He was a Ke
 nnedy Scholar at Harvard and\, on completing his PhD\, became a lecturer i
 n the Department of Government at the London School of Economics\, where h
 e was Professor of Russian Government\, before teaching at Cambridge Facul
 ty of History. Lieven has also been a visiting professor at Tokyo and Harv
 ard Universities\, as well as a Humboldt Fellow in Gottingen and Munich. H
 e has published widely\, writing on aristocracy\, late imperial Russia\, a
 nd empire. He is a Fellow of the British Academy.\n\n*Aleksandar Protic* w
 as educated at Sorbonne\, International Diplomatic Academy and Prime Minis
 ter of France National School of Governance\, and also is Harvard and Camb
 ridge Executive Education Alumni. He is actively engaged in UNESCO activit
 ies organizing high-level conferences and designing educational\, cultural
  and scientific programs. Founder of Tesla Memory Project\, Aleksandar is 
 also devoted to the popularization of science. He gave lectures before nom
 erous forums\, institutions\, as well as at Cambridge\, Oxford\, Sorbonne\
 , Prime Minister of France National School of Governance\, Serbian Academy
  of Sciences and Arts etc.\n\n*Simon Stockley* is a Teaching Fellow in Ent
 repreneurship at Cambridge Judge Business School and Deputy Director of Ac
 celerate Cambridge\, the School's new enterprise accelerator. Prior to his
  recent appointment at Cambridge\, Simon spent 10 years at Imperial Colleg
 e Business School as director of the full-time MBA programme and a princip
 al teaching fellow. His MBA course in entrepreneurship was ranked 3rd in t
 he world by the Financial Times. Outside work\, Simon is a social entrepre
 neur and an advocate for trafficked women\, in which capacity he has advis
 ed Parliament. He holds several non-executive directorships and has advise
 d well over 100 technology start-ups.\n\nThis Conference is free and open 
 to all with no ticket or pre-registration required. The conference will be
  held at Lecture Theatre 3.\n\nThe Conference will be followed by a cockta
