He is a Fellow of the Ro yal Academy of Engineering\, Director of the Cambridge Vehicle Dynamics C onsortium and the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight\, as well as Managin g Director of Granta Design Limited. He is also a Fellow of Queens' Colle ge Cambridge\n\nProfessor Cebon leads an active research group concerned w ith the design and dynamics of heavy vehicle suspensions\, road damage and the micromechanics of asphalt failure. He also has interests in the use o f computers in engineering design and education. He has written numerous p apers on the dynamics of heavy vehicles\, traffic instrumentation\, road d amage and materials information management software.\n\nIn this talk Profe ssor Cebon will discuss the options for improving the efficiency of road f reight transport.\n\nTime: Refreshments served from 18.30.
