 All are welcome to attend.\n\nEwan Harrison is Lecturer (Assistant Profess
 or) in Political Science at Rutgers University\, USA. He completed his PhD
  at the University of Bristol in 1999\, and was Hedley Bull Junior Researc
 h Fellow at St Anne's College\, Oxford 2001-2004. His new book “The Triu
 mph of Democracy and the Eclipse of the West” (Palgrave\, 2014) co-autho
 red with professor Sara Mitchell of the University of Iowa\, offers as syn
 thesis of the End of History and Clash of Civilizations theses for the 25t
 h anniversary of the end of the Cold War\, and explores the paradox of the
  global spread of democracy and capitalism in an era of Western decline.\n
