DESCRIPTION:In our projects\, we view accessibility requirements as a prox
 y for the general problems of constructing user software. In order to prom
 ote collaborative authoring amongst groups comprising very different world
 views and preferred ways of working\, we need to construct new substrates 
 for the tasks of software engineering. These substrates will allow for eas
 ier alignment between different expressions of the same artefact\, whether
  in visual\, non-visual or traditional textual form. In this category\, I'
 ll talk particularly about Flocking\, an environment from Colin Clark for 
 audio synthesis on the web.
