DESCRIPTION:Celebrated Darwin scholar James Moore goes beyond 19th century
  evolution to examine the work of R.A. Fisher\, the man hand-picked by Dar
 win relatives to lead the Eugenics Education Society in 1911\, whose synth
 esis of biometrics and Mendelian views of inheritance formed the basis of 
 neo-Darwinian theory in the early 20th century. In his work 'R.A. Fisher:
  a faith fit for eugenics'\, Moore considers the character which allowed 
 Fisher to pursue his eugenic theories in the face of academic and scientif
 ic controversy.
