DESCRIPTION:A novel experimental rig has been built to investigate the flo
w into subsonic intakes at high incidence. The experiments are carried out
in a small-scale blow-down wind tunnel. Computations are carried out in p
arallel to experiments using an in-house unstructured compressible flow so
lver.\nEvaluation of current Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) method
s are conducted and compared to experimental measurements. Preliminary qua
litative results show good agreement of experiments to the computations\,
although further analysis is required. Current computational strategies fo
llow a steady quasi-two-dimensional approach\, with fully structured wall-
 resolved grids.\n
