DESCRIPTION:This one day event is looking to reflect on the nature and mea
 surement of Pathways to Impact in the areas of Humanities and Social Scien
 ces.\n\nThe day will begin with a short overview of the landscape and char
 acteristics of social science impact activity in the UK\, drawing on recen
 t research on measuring and capturing impact in these disciplines and the 
 implications for developing and delivering impact.\n\nThere will then foll
 ow presentations on a number of case studies from a wide range of Humaniti
 es and Social Sciences disciplines\, with speakers from the Universities t
 hat are participating the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account Programme\, inc
 luding the Universities of Bath\, Cambridge\, Manchester and Oxford. \n\nF
 rom these case study presentations we will look to showcase and derive les
 sons for good practice\, based on examples of delivering and measuring soc
 ial sciences and humanities impact.\n\n\nFor more information about this e
