DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we will discuss some basic results on random ge
 ometric graphs on the hyperbolic plane. We will give an overview of this t
 heory and\, in particular\, we will discuss the typical degree distributio
 n of these random graphs and their connections with inhomogeneous random g
 raphs. Furthermore\, we will discuss their component structure and its evo
 lution as a function of the parameters of the model.\n\nThis is joint work
  with Michel Bode and Tobias Mueller.\n
