DESCRIPTION:Markos Kampanis will be giving an illustrated talk on his pain
 tings related to the monastic society on Mount Athos\, both secular and re
 ligious. Landscapes\, drawings\, prints\, book illustrations and religious
  murals shall be presented with the scope of examining their relationship 
 to the art produced there during the past and the problems arising in crea
 ting contemporary art within a traditional environment.\n
