DESCRIPTION:The Dalitz-plot analysis technique is used to study the interm
ediate\nstructure of the decay Bs -> D0bar K- pi+. The ability of this ap
proach\nto distinguish the spin of intermediate resonances allows the prev
iously\nobserved state DsJstar(2860) to be resolved into two contributions
:\nDs1star(2860) and Ds3star(2860). This is the first time that a spin-3
heavy\nflavour particle has been observed and the first observation of a B
meson\ndecaying to a spin-3 particle.\nI will give an introduction to Ds
meson spectroscopy\, the physics of the\nfamily of B(s) -> Dhh decays and
the Dalitz-plot analysis technique\,\nbefore discussing in detail the rece
nt results of the Bs -> D0bar K- pi+\nanalysis and their implications.
