DESCRIPTION:In this presentation I will summarise some interesting and tec
 hnically demanding projects that I have been involved with while working f
 or Frazer-Nash Consultancy. This will include discussion of cutting edge i
 ndustry techniques.  In particular\, the presentation will focus on the as
 sessment undertaken to justify the integrity of a large FPSO (Floating Pro
 duction Storage and Offloading) in the North Sea. This project involved a 
 cross-disciplinary team of engineers to undertake a hydrodynamic and struc
 tural analysis of the vessel.
