DESCRIPTION:The Ancient Lives\, New Discoveries British Museum exhibition 
 focuses on eight people from ancient Egypt and Sudan whose bodies have bee
 n mummified\, either naturally or by deliberate embalming. Using the lates
 t CT scan technology\, they are virtually unwrapped and the information ga
 thered is used to build a remarkable picture of their lives in the Nile Va
 lley over 4\,000 years – from prehistoric Egypt to Medieval Sudan. Danie
 l Antoine will provide an introduction to the exhibition and explain the c
 utting-edge science behind the CT scan visualisations.\n\nAfter the main t
