DESCRIPTION:Many weak factorization systems can be explicitly described us
 ing a 'path object' construction. These are often the (acyclic cofibration
 \, fibration) half of a Quillen model structure. For example\, this half o
 f the Hurewicz model structure on Top can be described using nothing but t
 he classical Moore path space construction and some of the natural structu
 re it carries. Similar weak factorization systems also appear in Cisinski 
 model structures and models of homotopy type theory. I will talk about the
  theory and practice of such things.
