DESCRIPTION:Asymptotically flat manifolds naturally arise in General\nRela
tivity as models for isolated gravitational systems\, like our solar syste
m is classically thought of.\nAs a result\, the geometry of these spaces h
as been the object of extensive investigation over the last two decades. W
hile a lot is now known (thanks\nto the work of Huisken-Yau\, Eichmair-Met
zger and many others) about the structure of large isoperimetric domains\,
hence of large CMC spheres and their relations to the ADM mass and center
of mass\, most questions\nconcerning complete (non-compact) minimal (more
generally: CMC) surfaces are substantially open. In this talk\, I will pr
esent a selection of recent\nresults in this direction.\n
