DESCRIPTION:Tom Ridgman is going to share his paper and related research w
 ork in the engineering graduate education area.  He and his colleagues com
 pared the views of Chinese and UK employers on the attributes of their new
  recruits to the graduate engineering position.  The findings are very int
 eresting.\n\nTom works for ISMM\, and is the Director of External Educatio
 n in IfM (http://www.ifm.eng.cam.ac.uk/people/twr20/).  He also leads the 
 Manufacturing Industry Education Research Group (MIERG) to look at educati
 onal issues related to manufacturing industry (http://www.ifm.eng.cam.ac.u
 k/research/mierg/).\n
