DESCRIPTION:Even discounting climate change nuclear power is the safest fo
 rm of large-scale energy production mankind has yet devised. Yet a conside
 rable number of people seem to think it so dangerous that it should not be
  used at all. This talk considers some reasons for this puzzle and suggest
 s ways forward.\n\nAll members of the public and the university community
