DESCRIPTION:The Rainbow Group\, collectively\, has a great deal of experie
 nce in preparing and submitting papers. A lot of good practice is shared a
 necdotally between individuals. This is an opportunity to share those anec
 dotes more widely. This Rainbow seminar will be akin to a morning coffee d
 iscussion\, but focussed on people’s experience of preparing papers for 
 major conferences and journals. Come along prepared to talk about your exp
 eriences over the past year. Why do you think your paper won an award? Wha
 t did you do that inspired the referees to recommend acceptance? What did 
 you do that inspired the referees to write a bad review? What has surprise
 d you about the process?
