DESCRIPTION:We review the experimental evidence for Einstein's general rel
ativity. Tests of the Einstein Equivalence Principle support the postulate
s of curved spacetime\, while solar-system experiments strongly confirm we
ak-field general relativity. We describe the status of the recently concl
uded Stanford Gyroscope Experiment. Binary pulsars provide tests of gravi
tational-wave damping and of strong-field general relativity. Recently ope
rational laser interferometric gravitational-wave observatories\, and a fu
ture space interferometer\, may provide new tests via the properties of gr
 avitational waves.\n\n
