DESCRIPTION:New particles beyond the standard model have not been found at
  the LHC\,  and direct dark matter detection experiments provided inconclu
 sive results  so far. As a consequence\, dark matter has only been indirec
 tly observed through its gravitational effects. In this talk\, I will disc
 uss two alternatives to particle dark matter that are pure manifestations 
 of gravity: primordial black holes and a modification of gravity called "m
 imetic dark matter".
