DESCRIPTION:Pete Kemp will be discussing how computers will influence the 
 future of learning.\n\nPete is a CS educator who was on the drafting panel
  of the recent new ICT curriculum in the UK. Among many other projects\, h
 e's now Senior Lecturer in Computing Education at the University of Roeham
 pton and a TeachFirst ambassador. Previously he taught ICT at sixth form l
 evel and founded AMBICT\, a self-help and innovation group for ICT teacher
 s at schools in challenging circumstances.\n\nDuring this talk he'll be di
 scussing his experiences teaching ICT in challenging schools\, and how com
 puter scientists can contribute to social mobility. He'll also discuss his
  role in drafting the new ICT curriculum\, and how computers will influenc
